Facilities Manager

As Facilities Manager for McMaster Innovation Park, Jim brings to MIP a wealth of knowledge and expertise from operating prestigious medium to large size customer service focused facilities such as Maple Leaf Gardens and Fallsview Casino and Resort.  Jim’s mandate to provide our stakeholders with a level of customer service, unmatched in the industry will be well supported by his diverse experience and education.

This role brings Jim back home to Hamilton where his management and operation savvy began as the Operations Manager for the Hamilton Tiger Cat Football Club.  After leaving the Tiger Cat organization, Jim moved onto bigger and better things through his role in Ottawa with Recreation Services International as their Business Development Manager which operated Leisure and Recreation Facilities across Canada. Among the many facilities operated by R.S.I, came the management and operation of the Ottawa Roughrider Football Club in 1995 and 1996.

Jim, a graduate of Mohawk College and the University of Guelph is a welcome addition to MIP who is positioned for success.
