Mr. Roger Couldrey

Roger Couldrey

Roger was appointed Vice-President (Administration) of McMasterUniversity in April 2010, having spent more than a decade on the Board of Governors, much of it as chair of the Finance and Audit Committees. 

He came to McMaster after a 38 year career in Financial Services including 30 years at Bank of Montreal where he held executive roles in Human Resources, Electronic Financial Services and Personal and Commercial Banking. He was a founding executive and subsequent President of epost, the electronic post office, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Canada Post Corporation. 

More recently he was a founding executive of CommunityLend, a web-based peer to peer lending organization.  In between he was a member of the Senior Management team of Orlick Industries, an owner managed auto parts manufacturer in Hamilton. 

He has succeeded in many different roles and in many different types of organizations. He has a long history of community involvement having been Chair of the United Way, President of the Art Gallery of Hamilton and Vice-Chair of the Royal Botanical Gardens among others.
