Art in the Workplace Exhibit 23 Featured Artist: Rob Crosby
Rob Crosby’s catalyst for most of his paintings are colour, texture and
age, as well as influence from his east coast roots. He is drawn to
painting things that most people walk by and don't even notice, like as a pile of old fishing buoys, an old boat or an old car, as they have so much colour and texture that they could probably tell a few interesting stories, if they could talk. He paints with acrylic, which allows for use of vibrant colours that create an almost photographic look to his work. Also, if you look hard enough, in every painting Rob has include three small birds.
The Art in the Workplace Exhibit 23 Grand Opening will take place on March 30th at 7pm.
