The Forge company, Hal Cal completes first round of Angel funding
Hal Cal is an app that helps individuals and families manage health appointments and personal health information in one secure place.
Investors in the financing round included Moufeed Kaddoura, ExVivo Labs founder and CEO; Matt Mastracci, escapecode ventures founder; Justin LaFrance, StumbleUpon founder and recently retired Robert Schmidt, former Chief for the California State Department of Technology.
"We feel very lucky to be supported by such a great group of investors. Everyone on the Hal Cal team has startup experience which I think is pretty special and gives us a certain edge over other companies who are competing against us in the same space," says Lidia Sienkowska & Kathleen Sidenblad, Hal Cal co-founders.
The funds received will be used for product development and Hal Cal's public launch.
