Getting To MIP
McMaster Innovation Park is well situated for easy access by vehicle or public transit for residential and commuting personnel. MIP is located on Longwood Road South between Aberdeen Ave. and Main St. W., in western Hamilton. It is along Highway 403 which provides easy access to MIP from the Niagara Peninsula through to the GTA.
HSR (Hamilton Street Railway)
Hamilton’s municipal transit system has a bus stop directly in front of the Atrium@MIP. To plan your route, Click Here.
Burlington Transit's #1 routes travel from Plains Road to downtown Hamilton. From there, the HSR system travels to MIP. For more information, Click Here.
The Hamilton GO Centre consists of a train and bus station and is located at 36 Hunter St. E. There is also a GO bus terminal on the McMaster University campus. The HSR goes from both locations to MIP. To see the GO schedules, Click Here.

Electric Vehicle Chargers
For those with electric vehicles, MIP has chargers in the parking lots of both The Atrium and MARC buildings. This also includes a Tesla charger.
Community CarShare is a non-profit co-operative which provides its members access to vehicles on a self-serve, pay-per-use basis. It offers an affordable and sustainable transportation choice. Hamilton Bike Share: SoBi Hamilton
SoBi Hamilton is an innovative year-round bike sharing system that allows users to take one-way trips via publicly accessible bikes. The SoBi Hamilton fleet is made up of specially designed, heavy-duty bikes that are located at over 110 hubs across the city. Bikes can be returned to any hub anywhere in the system, creating an efficient network with many possible connection points and combinations of departures and arrivals.
