MIP’s first life sciences focused building is home to a diverse range of biotech and pharmaceutical companies, including the notable Fusion Pharmaceuticals, which is an Astra-Zeneca company, as well as Allarta Life Sciences and Afynia Laboratories. These organizations contribute significantly to the thriving ecosystem of innovation and research within the life sciences sector.

OmniaBio Building

OmniaBio @MIP advances biotechnological research and development. This facility offers modern laboratories, collaborative workspaces, and specialized equipment for researchers and startups. By partnering academia with industry, OmniaBio accelerates biotechnology commercialization, enhancing healthcare and supporting a vibrant ecosystem for entrepreneurs and researchers.

The Spec@MIP was acquired by MIP in March 2020. A landmark in Hamilton, this facility is planned to be a hub for life sciences and technology companies, providing wet labs and unique spaces for growing companies.
