McMaster Innovation Park Announces Mandatory Vaccination Policy

Throughout the pandemic, McMaster Innovation Park has placed the health and safety of everyone at the forefront of our planning. The Delta variant, rising infection rates in the broader community and the provincial rollout of vaccine passports, have informed MIP management decision to introduce a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all individuals accessing the common areas of MIP, including MIP staff, tenants, contractors and visitors.

This policy will be aligned with the new provincial “enhanced COVID-19 vaccine certificate” system, which will require the provision of a valid proof of vaccination prior to accessing common facilities. The new policy will only be applicable to common areas such as entrances, elevators, meetings rooms, etc. which are managed directly by MIP.

Tenant ventures are and shall remain responsible for complying with applicable public health guidelines within their own suites and facilities.

Throughout the pandemic, we have ensured consistent efforts in maintaining a safe and healthy environment. As we cautiously navigate the new norms, we look forward to our community’s continued cooperation to achieve this so that we can return to semblance of normalcy and overcome COVID-19.

More details on this policy will be announced soon.
